ABOUT

Laura Aston, the multi-award winning singer

is a UK country music singer from the West Midlands, born on March 20th 1993. She started her career in her teen years where she worked abroad performing in holiday resorts. In 2017 Laura returned to the UK and started posting videos on social media, the response was overwhelming and Laura’s journey began following several viral videos, including videos with her late Grandfather. In 2018 Laura answered an add for an audition for a management company seeking singers for a Girlband, Laura attended the audition however the team felt that she had something a little special and offered her a solo management deal. Laura spoke with the team and expressed her love for country music; she explained that her late Irish Grandparents would always be playing Country music around the house, so she was raised on country music and has had a passion for the great females of country ever since. It was then decided, Laura would follow her dream to be a UK Country Music Artist. Laura started working on her socials performing covers whilst working on original music in the studio with an aim to release her first original song. Again the response to country music online was even better than before and her voice attracted several writers and producers from America, radio stations in Nashville were playing her music! Country music artists were reaching out for collaboration. Amongst the organizations to reach out was a charity based in the West Midlands that Laura had supported before, Laura released “Remember Me” in 2018 in support of the charity, the song went straight to number 1 in the Country Music chart.  Following the success of Remember Me Laura started to plan her next release. “Bible Paper Thin” was released on 16th August 2018 awarding Laura her second number 1, the song would receive worldwide airplay and be awarded the Chris Country music hot single of the week. Laura’s popularity continued to grow both in the UK and Nashville, Laura’s dream of a career in music was finally looking like a reality after years of work. On December 13th 2018 Laura released her third single “Daddies Lie” a soft story telling ballad that told the story of a daughters love for her father, this would be Laura’s third number 1 single of 2018! And would later be awarded the Bluebird Golden Pick, awarding Laura the first international artist to ever receive the honor. In 2019 Laura and her manager started planning and making the arrangements for a headline tour. Laura Aston and the LA Band were now rehearsing, a 4 piece band joining Laura for her headline shows but of course Laura wanted to release more music and started working with X Factor winner and songwriter Kellimarie Willis, on the 21st November 2019 “Nothing Can Break Me” was released into the charts awarding Laura her fourth country music number 1 single as well as being the fasted selling single of the week.

The announcement was made and the tickets went on sale for Laura’s UK dates and sold out in record time. Laura was again overwhelmed with the love of the public and as always took to social media to express her gratitude. In 2020 Covid 19 hit the world and lockdown struck, the entertainment industry like so many others closed, however in late 2021 when restrictions were lifted and tour dates were rearranged Laura was able to greet her fans and perform her sell out shows. Laura would also be nominated for Entertainer Of The Year at the BCMA awards. Laura continued to work on original music and on 23rd February 2022 Laura released her fifth single “Good Things Come About” as well as her lockdown album entitled “The Calm Before The storm” both the single and the album went straight to number 1 controlling 5 of the top 10 positions.  “Good Things Come About” would chart in 7 different countries.

Laura announced her “Road To Nashville” tour shortly after the release and continues to work on her new album. In September 2022 Laura made her first trip over to Nashville to perform at the Bluebird Café and would spend a week performing and touring Nashville as well as conducting interviews whilst promoting her new single “Love You Endlessly”.  On September 29th the single would debut at number 1 in the UK Country Charts.

Laura is currently planning to return to Nashville, to date Laura’s music has reached millions across her social platforms and continues to rise.
